alright I finally got !opensuse working on my new system76 lemur, realtek is a bit of a pain at the 64 bit level but nonetheless it works now
@RagnarokAngel true, but I must say that I am very happy with Maemo it is a sweet OS
@RagnarokAngel yeah I saw that...pretty cool, but I am still staying away from it
I am not likeing realtek anyone have a working rpm for rtl819xSE models !opensuse
@system76 thanks i sent an email...second question what is the specific device name and model for the wireless adapter? I am seeking to install opensuse 11.3 and ubuntu but opensuse only sees the ethernet card
@system76 sound works on my new lemur but seems to sound like it is in a bottle, I had the same issue with my macbook running ubuntu and usually would unmute a speaker but the same option isn't there in alsamixer any tips?
woo hoo got my new @system76 laptop on Tuesday, but finally getting to play with it today
@RagnarokAngel the integration on the n900 is unreal so simple & easy i actually can't tell when someone calls thru gv or gtalk or cellular
@RagnarokAngel the only problem is it require constant intertube connection which will drain the battery
@RagnarokAngel technically there is a plugin on maemo for gv that relays text messages too which would eliminate the need for a text plan
@RagnarokAngel sipgate has detailed instructions to use it with gv
@RagnarokAngel minus the nightly crashing a bit it runs faster and smoother
@RagnarokAngel have you looked at sipgate for their service and well the N900 is a sweet sipphone too
@RagnarokAngel what is C2DM?
@navigium i am working on that so far the answer is it's possible but requires hacking so it might not get done cause it requires hacking
installing fennec~2.0 nightly qt style to should be interesting !n900
