@mv !ubuntu should be able to handle resizing ubuntu well. I've never ran into an issue. YMMV, of course.

@mv you'd still have the kernel, almost certainly, but no, it is not stable enough (at least on my hardware). Not sure if the plymouth bug is fixed (I uninstalled). The -14 and -15 kernels do not work for me. May be fine on other hardware, but unless you dual boot, wouldn't do it. !ubuntu

@haris he's a developer, he's compiled plenty of stuff. We did try installing from the tar, but that didn't really work. !ubuntu threw erros
