about 9 days ago from xmpp@jasonriedy Post the results, I picked the #glusterfs as it was the easier to setup and most flexible yet I thin other options would give better performance
@jasonriedy It has very nice performance, I couldn't remove files directly but it was a minor hazzle for me. I did some test over Gbit and I managed to cap it with my setup, so it was enough for me. In fact I managed to fry some cheap switchs with it.
Testing the #playlist #html5 music player, it's badly packaged and badly documented but it's a very nice proof of concept.

Also, the second resource and first space hogh on the system are the avatars, I need to figure out somethign to clean them up as the last time I lost a bunch of group avatars
@lnxwalt Indeed it makes a big difference, the db performance degrades greatly with size. No, for a large DB like bb was, it's easier to dump and rebuild.
!bb Well the database trim has really improved the site speed, I'm going to take a look at resources
